I like how it does not only use one method of visually representing the data but various different ones that suit the information being represented and conveyed.
It is effective because it not only shows the statistics but actually 'shows' the amount in a physical sense, so even though someone doesn't understand English, it is still understandable.

Although these 2 infographics are conveying similar messages, they are designed differently but both are effective.
As we were only to use paper, tacks, and string for our data visualisation workshop, these various infographics effectively represent other types of data.
